Frances-Kay – Scaffold #4
Part-installation, part-performance, Scaffold #4 is a jointly developed interdisciplinary work by performance artist Frances-Kay and sonic artist Manoli Moriaty. The performer explores the width and breadth of a scaffolding attached with contact microphones and motion sensors, communicating audio and data to a processing system. The resulting sounds are the vibrations of the scaffolding caused by the performer’s movements.
