On Friday 26 September 2014 the Metanast collective will be taking over the University of Salford’s state-of-the-art concert halls at MediaCityUK; the serene Egg Suite and multifaceted Digital Performance Lab, as well as the futuristic adjacent foyer. Over the extended 5 hour programme, the event will showcase the distinct sounds and sights making up contemporary sound art, delivered by established UK and international performers, alongside emerging artists and submissions from around the world.

Metanast is a non-profit collective. All event proceedings are divided among the participating artists. The concert series is a result of support and in kind contributions by the University of Salford, Sound and Music, the Sonic Arts Forum, and the Hellenic Electroacoustic Music Composers Association.
