Metanast presents Richard Scott at Bangkok Bar.
Metanast returns to the dazzling and extravagant Bangkok Bar for another evening of sonic wonders, led by the modular maestro Richard Scott. An acclaimed improviser and Basic Electricity founder, Richard will be performing a live electroacoustic set with analogue synthesisers and custom controllers. Supported by Manchester heavyweights Danny Saul and Sam Weaver, Metanast usual Manoli Moriaty, and introducing the organised noise of Gidouille. On top of the live performances, fixed-media works will be performed over the Sonic Arts Forum acousmatic system, and the interactive sound installation Tube Ensemble.
Metanast is a Manchester based collective running a regular series of non-profit sound art events, supported by Sound and Music, the University of Salford, the Sonic Arts Forum, and HELMCA.
