Stephen Grew

Grew has been playing piano and keyboards for 30 years developing his own sound from intensive work as an improviser performer,recording, touring and as a teacher. As well as playing with his peers in the British Improvising scene, he has worked with veterans like Evan Parker, Keith Tippett, Howard Riley to name a few. He currently works in Grew Quartet, as a soloist and in Grutronic. His inspiration is drawn from living through the music in the moment and the raw characteristics of the instruments.
